NORTH WALES OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT 2013 N.W13S0230 INFORMATION & REGULATIONS 1. The Tournament is sanctioned by The Lawn Tennis Association and will be conducted under the present rules and regulations of the LTA, including the Code of Conduct. 2. All competitors in singles events must have a current LTA Player Rating. All singles results will be sent to the LTA for processing. 3. Ages Groups: Open Singles and Doubles events. Veteran Men’s Doubles. (45 years old or over on 1/1/13) Senior Ladies Doubles (45 years old or over on 1/1/13) Veterans 35 Singles & Mixed over 40 Doubles ( 35 or 40 & over on 1/1/13 )
4. Competitors may only enter two events. 5. Entries along with the entry fee must reach the organiser by the CLOSING DATE: Thursday 20th June 2013. Your acceptance along with the time of your first match will be notified to you as soon as possible after the draw on Thursday 27th June 2013. 6. The tournament will be played using a staggered draw. 7. ALL Finals will be played on Sunday 7th July 2013. unless advised 8. The tournament committee and Referee reserve the right to alter time, date, surface and length of matches to ensure completion of the tournament. The referee’s decision is final on all matters. 9. The tournament will be played at PRESTATYN TENNIS CLUB .Gronant Rd Prestatyn LL19 9DT 10. On outdoor acrylic courts & Porous macadam courts. Other local venues may be used at the referees’ discretion. 11. Recognised tennis clothing must be worn during the tournament. Proper tennis shoes must also be worn. All logos and advertising must conform to LTA regulations. 12. Players should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time to sign in at the Referees desk. Any player not arriving 15 minutes after their start time is liable to be scratched. Players withdrawing after the draw has been made will be reported to the LTA Disciplinary Committee and could have points deducted from their rating. 13. Prize Money & Trophies will be given to winners and runners-up in each event.
