48th ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION Monday, July 4, 2016 | 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Happy Birthday USA!

Enjoy the Fireworks Display in the St. Marys Waterfront Park Named by Southeast Tourism Society a Top 20 Festival in the Southeast LOCATION and DIRECTIONS The St. Marys Historic Waterfront is located just 8 miles off I-95. Take the #3 Exit. At the stoplight, turn left and drive to the very end (approx. 8 miles). You are now at the waterfront, which is the location of the Festival! Exhibit space will be available on Osborne Street as well as St. Marys Street. Kiwanis members will meet you here at the barricades to provide directions to your booth. FESTIVAL TIME Monday, July 4, 2016!. Check-in begins at 5:30 am. Booth assignments will be given at check-in. No booth numbers will be given prior to Festival Day. Setup on Festival Day only. All vendor booths must be set up for viewing, with all vehicles out of the exhibit area, no later than 9:00 am. Parking is available on side streets. Exhibits should not be removed before 4:30 pm, but if necessary, items must be hand carried from festival area. Vendors not gone by 6:00 pm must remain through the firework display. All vendors must be packed up and out of the festival area no later than Midnight.

 By order of the St. Marys Police Dept., no fireworks may be sold, including Snap ‘n Pops.  No vehicles (motorized, bicycles, or golf carts) allowed in Festival area 9 am – 4:30 pm.  Sale of alcohol or use of open containers of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.  Oil or grease must be removed by vendor. Do not pour grease into waste water drains.  Ensure electrical cords do not create tripping hazards. ICE & WATER Lang’s Seafood (just left of the main stage) may have ice for sale until mid-day. There are only two direct water connections. You must share access to these with others and you should bring containers to store water at your booth. Be prepared to obtain ice before check-in. SALES TAX

EXHIBITORS BOOTH SPACES Total booth size for Arts & Crafts exhibitors is 12’ x 12’. Booth size is 24’ x 12’ for food vendors. Displays may not exceed boundaries. All booth spaces will be designated on street surface (no grass or landscape areas are available). Any exhibitor needing additional space will be expected to reserve two (or more as needed) spaces. Tents are welcomed and encouraged. Booth space only is provided by the Kiwanis Club of St. Marys. Vendors must supply own display tables, canopies, props and chairs. All display tables must be professionally constructed. Vendors will not be allowed to roam through the festival selling their wares. You must stay in the vicinity of your booth. FOOD VENDORS Those wishing to sell any type of food, water, and/or other drinks must register as food vendors. Sand or other absorbent material should be used when cooking with oil. Exhibitors are expected to collect sales tax for all sales and file their own returns. The Independence Day and Rock Shrimp Festivals do not collect any commission. REFUNDS Other than non-accepted applications, no refunds will be given. Events will take place rain or shine. OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS For information on overnight accommodations, contact St. Marys Tourism at (912) 882-4000.

This is a family oriented festival and the Kiwanis Club of St. Marys reserves the right to reject any item offered for sale. Any vendor attempting to sell unapproved items will be required to remove the items or to leave. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. QUESTIONS?
