“As a South Putnam football player you learn how to become a man. It’s more than just a game… it’s a life lesson. You’ve got to work for what you want… things aren’t handed to you, the wings on your helmet are earned. The ability to work together is a lifelong characteristic that you need. Playing every play like it is your last play is the mindset you need to have throughout life.” Joe Masters – Class of 2016
