We should fear and love God so that we do not curse, swear, use satanic arts, lie, or deceive by His name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise, and give thanks. We should fear and love God so that we do not despise preaching and His Word, but hold it sacred and gladly hear and learn it. On Friday, September 29, the third through eighth grade classes of EGL will be participating in FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN. This service project will be held at Brookfield Lutheran Church from 1pm - 3pm. Parents, please let me know if you can be a driver for our class, if you would like to pack meals with us, or BOTH! All volunteers are welcome. We will leave EGL at 12:30PM and return about 3:20pm. A note went home with your child on Friday with additional information. We are looking forward to a great afternoon. I hope you can join us! The first time for the Cherub Choir to sing is on SUNDAY, September 17, at the 10:45 AM service. Please mark this on your calendar. Race for Education is Friday, October 13.
