Our goal for this Winter is to help you find motivation in getting some projects completed and start 2017 off with finish gifts to give next December! The start of this challenge is January 1st. You have until December 31st to turn in your list of UFO’s, by completing the UFO Form at the end of these guidelines. End of the Winter UFO Challenge will be April 1st. You must by then have shown us the status of your UFO - - it does not have to be completed, yet that is that goal. We will award points to each of your UFO’s by completed elements. This helps create a balanced field of diversity in projects. You can list up to 15 UFO’s. A UFO has to be something you already have 75% of the materials needed and a pattern to work from. You may have one UFO that is deemed “easy” (ei. Pot holder, dishcloth, anything smaller than 20” square) or can be completed very quickly. Prizes: Based on points we will award 3 gift certificates:
$50 $30 $20 If you complete at least 3 UFO’s during the Fall Challenge you will also receive a 40% coupon on one item in April. The Point System:
1 point for every UFO you list, up to 15 1 point for every purchase you make towards finishing a UFO (make sure you tell us – includes notions) 5 points for each completed UFO that is donated to charity. 5 points for every UFO that are “almost done” – quilts tops, sweaters that need buttons – yet must have been worked on. 10 points for every completed UFO (quilts must have labels, fiber works must have weave ends, buttons, etc) 10 points extra, if all UFO’s are completed by March 1st. 25 points for completely finishing all UFO’s on list by end of challenge, April 1st. 1 point for bringing all completed/not completed UFO’s to April 1st End Challenge Celebration Event. 1 point for each share in the private Facebook Group established for this challenge.
End of Winter UFO Challenge Celebration with be Saturday, April 1st at 1:00pm.
