AYSO Region 350/206/5121 Minutes Monthly Meeting 7PM, October 9, 2017 Pima County Community College
1. Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm. 2. It was moved by Vickey Smith and seconded by Michael Gilmore to approve the minutes as written. Motion carried. 3. Attendees: Matt Manis, Chris Lash, Michael Gilmore, Dawn Gilmore, Belen Garcia, Bryon Garcia, Vickey Smith, Dan Pape, Ed Smith, Clint Davis, Bernice Lewis, Mandy Hamilton, Rochelle Bailey, Wendy Polly, Krystal Pfau, Zac Pfau, Amy Marr, Melissa Rocha, Wayne Wilson 4. RC report a. 18U division will not play a tournament. They will just extend their season. Players will receive participation medals. b. 16U division will not play a tournament. They will just extend their season. Players will receive participation medals. c. 10U will have Soccerfest i. Region will pay the entry fees for teams that want to participate d. 12U & 14U will have a tournament in December i. Region will pay the entry fee for teams that want to participate 5. Treasurer a. Balances i. Region 350: $18,512.68 ii. Region 206: 1. Main: $105,440.53 2. Travel: $5,465.04 3. Savings: $1,860.54 b. Refund and cancelations i. More refund checks need to be sent out. Ed Smith gave Bryon a new list. Krystal had checks signed today. 6. Coach a. Intermediate Coach Training Oct 7: i. 5 attended 1. 2 from 350 completed training 2. 2 from 206 completed training b. 12U Coaches trained i. 206- 4 ii. 350 – 1 c. 10U Coaches Trained i. 206-2 ii. 350-1
7. Referee a. Intermediate Ref class 10/7 i. 3 attended, 1 passed b. Basic Ref Class 10/7 i. 21 attended – 18 passed 8. Equipment a. Uniforms: i. Extra uniforms were ordered for the 14U team that was split off b. Trophies i. Trophies in storage will be repurposed for Playground and Schoolyard. ii. Trophies will be ordered for all players for both regions. c. 2 sets of regular sized nets need to be ordered. 9. Webmaster a. Get updates to Michael. 10. Registration a. Region 350: 229 b. Region 206: 490 11. CVPA a. Wayne reviewed the volunteers and notified the Assistant Coach Admin with the names of volunteers that did not complete their volunteer forms. 12. Regions 5121 a. Adult League – Region numbering may change i. Bank account closed – Need to open a new bank account. Money is sitting in Blue Sombrero waiting for financial institution. ii. Time to advertise iii. Registration fee: $42. 13. Gold Cards a. Drawings for prizes i. 206 Beats Headphone: James Siakotos & Thomas Anderson ii. 350 Beats Headphones: Lauren Falconer & Allen Waggoner iii. Grab bag names: Riley Anderson & Franklin Scott 14. Pictures a. Pictures were taken by picture people during FunFest were taken of TSA. We will get retakes from closing ceremonies. 15. New Business a. Closing Ceremonies i. November 18 – Location tentatively Rillito In-field 1. Setup at 2 2. 350 closing ceremonies at 3 pm 3. 206 closing ceremonies at 4:30 pm b.
