Product Installation Document
1 Overview These switching power supplies/distribution units convert 115 VAC input into 6 VDC, 12 VDC, or 24 VDC @ 2.5 A or 4.0 A of continuous supply current and distribute it using individually fused or PTC outputs. These general-purpose power supplies have a wide range of applications for access control, security and CCTV systems that require additional power. For convenient installation, they come completely assembled with a steel enclosure, transformer, and connecting hardware.
2 Product Contents All hardware is mounted in steel enclosure (see dimensions below) and includes a HT28100 transformer and a single power supply board. Product

5 Installation Instructions 1.
Unpack product. Do not discard packaging material until installation is complete.
2.
Pre-drill holes where enclosure is to be mounted. Choose a vertical surface strong enough to support the full weight of the assembly. Select a mounting location in an area without excessive moisture; for indoor installation only.
3.
Secure enclosure to the desired location using the appropriate sized fasteners.
4.
Configure the power supply using DIP switches to select output voltage required (refer to Figure 1).
5.
Disconnect power to the branch circuit to which the product will be connected.
6.
Place SW1 on the distribution board/boards (HPD4/HPD8) in the off position.
7.
Connect incoming AC power (115 V, 60 Hz): – Hot (black) to terminal marked “L”. – Neutral (white) to terminal marked “N”. – Ground to terminal marked “G”.
8.
Use the knockout in bottom of cabinet for 115 VAC wiring. Route the 115 VAC wiring at least 1/4" from (low voltage) wiring.
9.
Keep a 1/4" (0.635 cm) separation between power-limited wiring and non-power-limited wiring. Use separate knockouts for power limited wiring.
10. Connect CCTV cameras (or other external loads) to appropriate terminals: Connect circuit #1 to terminals marked “1+” and “–”. Connect circuit #2 to terminals marked “2+” and “–”. Continue to connect the remaining circuits, carefully observing polarity. Terminals marked with “–” are of the same polarity. 11. Power the branch circuit and slide SW1 to the ON position. All LEDs should illuminate. 12. To avoid potential damage, verify that out put voltage and load current does not exceed output limitations. 13. Upon completion of wiring, secure cabinet door with screws supplied, to prevent access by unauthorized person.
