WHERE SHOULD IT BE USED? Ronseal Spray or Brush Fencelife is ideal for use on any rough sawn garden timber such as sheds, fencing and trellis. It is not suitable for smooth planed wood such as decking and garden furniture. DRYING TIMES Ronseal Spray or Brush Fencelife is dry in just 2 to 4 hours under normal weather conditions. A second coat can be applied as soon as the first coat is dry. COVERAGE 9 litres will colour and protect up to 11 fence panel sides. PREPARATION Make sure the timber is clean and dry. Remove any dirt, moss, fungal and lichen growth with a stiff brush. The Ronseal Power Sprayer and Pump Sprayer both have an accurate spray delivery, however due to the nature of the product it is recommended that cardboard or plastic sheets are used to protect areas from any overspray. Do not spray in windy or damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product dries. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C. If overcoating strong or contrasting colours, further coats will be required. APPLICATION Ronseal Spray or Brush Fencelife is suitable for use with any Ronseal sprayer. Stir product thoroughly before use. Power Sprayer: Place the power unit directly onto the Spray or Brush tub, secure using the clips provided. Alternatively, pour product directly into the tank. For further information refer to the Power Sprayer instruction leaflet. The effective power of the Ronseal Power Sprayer means you can complete your garden in one go. Battery life sufficient to treat up to 40 fence panels!
CLEAN UP Power Sprayer: Fill the supplied Power Sprayer tank with clean water. Remove the power unit from the Spray or Brush tub and attach to the sprayer tank, flush through until the sprayer mist runs clear. DO NOT leave any product in the sprayer unit. Ensure the pump and wand are completely empty before storage. For further information refer to the instruction leaflet. Pump Sprayer: Remove as much product from the sprayer unit as possible before cleaning. Any unused product should be sprayed back into the container. Clean the sprayer unit immediately after use with clean water, fill the sprayer unit with clean water and flush through until the sprayer mist runs clear. DO NOT leave any product in the sprayer unit. Ensure the pump and wand are completely empty before storage. For further information refer to the instruction leaflet. Brush: Remove as much product as possible from brushes before washing in warm soapy water. Any overspray should be cleaned up with water and detergent, wipe off any splashes on plants with a damp cloth before the product dries. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste coatings. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. RONSEAL SPRAY OR BRUSH FENCELIFE
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. After contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapour/spray. Protect from frost. Do not apply below 10°C or in high humidity. EU limit value for this product (cat A/e): 150g/l (2007) / 130g/l (2010). This product contains max 20g/l VOC.
Pump Sprayer: Pour the liquid into the Ronseal Pump Sprayer unit. Do not exceed maximum fill level. Pump sprayer as per instructions. Stand with the sprayer nozzle around 23cm (9inches) away from the timber and gently squeeze the trigger to begin spraying. Keep the nozzle a constant distance away from the timber and spray horizontally across the full width of the fence panel, working down overlap the previous pass by 50%. Ensure that the vertical struts and edges are treated. Finish any awkward or intricate areas off with a brush. For full 5 year colour protection, simply apply 2 coats. Brush: Stir product thoroughly before and during use. Load brush generously with product. Apply a thick even coat ensuring the colour is uniform. Take care not to spread the product too far. For full 5 year colour protection, simply apply 2 coats.
