TO THE FANS OF FALCON ATHLETICS: The University of Texas of the Permian Basin Athletics program is poised to soar to new heights. After 21 years of growth and development, we are preparing to join the nationally prominent Lone Star Conference. We will play our inaugural intercollegiate football game on September 3rd, 2016 at Ratliff Stadium against Sul Ross. Golf will get into full swing in the fall of 2016. With the addition of football and golf, UTPB will support 16 intercollegiate sports. Over 400 student-athletes and a myriad of student support staff will participate in our athletic program. I invite you to be a part of our success and a participant in our program’s future by becoming a Falcon Athletic Club (FAC) donor. By investing in our talented young men and women, you can help provide the tools necessary for them to accomplish their academic, athletic, and professional goals. Thank you for your support as we embark upon a new era of UTPB Athletics. GO Falcons!

ATHLETICS MISSION STATEMENT Intercollegiate Athletics at UTPB will afford prospective students the opportunity to compete in sports within an environment that is conducive to the achievement of their academic goals. The Athletic Department’s coaches and staff will work to recruit student-athletes who are prepared to enter and compete successfully within a university academic environment. Sport will serve as a source of cohesion for the student body as well as the community and act as a vehicle for socialization between persons of various races, cultures and ages.

FALCON ATHLETIC CLUB MISSION The purpose of the Falcon Athletic Club is to provide financial assistance to the UTPB Athletic Department, by obtaining philanthropic support from alumni, individuals, families and corporations. Gifts to the FAC help provide scholarships, equipment, travel and operating funds to assist more than 400 student-athletes. Your annual contribution to the Falcon Athletic Club is vital to the growth and success of UTPB athletics.
