WEIGHT CAPACITY Sugatsune’s new soft closing sliding door system works for doors up to 200 lbs (80kg) in weight. Also, the new soft brake (damper brake) is built into the profile and can be fitted on one or both sides of the door providing a smooth and quiet sliding of the door into its opening and closing position. Track Mounting Solutions Sliding doors can act as room dividers and space savers, allowing area around the doorway, normally lost to the swinging door, to be effectively used. Barn door mounting solutions are ideally suited to applications where it is cost effective or structurally impossible to install a pocket door. The installation of a barn door is relatively straight forward: Screw the track or brackets (depending on the system) to the wall, install the roller’s mounting brackets to the top of your door, connect it together, add a floor guide, and voila!
