Molded Doors The solid core construction reduces sound transmission by up to 50% (compared to a hollow flush door) and helps prevent the dents and dings of daily life. You select where privacy is preferred – most common areas include home offices, bedrooms, playrooms and theater rooms. Construction solid core materials used inside the door affect the weight of the door, sound transmission, its ability to withstand impact, and fire protection ratings.
