7th and 8th Grade Football 2016 Summer As we begin

7th and 8th Grade Football 2016 Summer As we begin to prepare for the 2016 football season, we would like to make sure you are ready to go when our first practice comes on July 28. To begin with, please plan to attend the parent meeting at Geneva High School on Thursday July 7 from 6-7 pm in room 209. There will also be a mandatory parent meeting at Geneva High School on Wednesday July 27 at 6 pm. This meeting is made mandatory by the state of Ohio. At the meeting on July 7, you will receive more information about our season. As you can see on the attached calendar, our first practice will be on Thursday July 28 with 8th grade starting at 8 am and 7th grade starting at 9:30 am. In order to participate in practice, you must have a current physical on file, have the emergency medical form completed, have the code of conduct signed, and have paid your pay to participate. Please do not wait until the last minute to get your physical. You can go to your doctor or there are also doctors in the area running specials on certain days in the summer. Your doctor might have the correct physical form but to be sure you can print one off on the Geneva Schools website. If you ever have any questions, check out the website (we will do our best to keep current information posted in the “football section”) or call the school.
