Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I hope you’re all as excited as we are to get back to school and get busy. In an effort to cut down on the amount of paperwork parents receive, we will be putting the course syllabus online. If you would like a paper copy of the syllabus, please let us know. It is very important that each parent/guardian log into their HAC (Home Access Account) and make sure to have included a valid email address. We can better inform parents of behavior issues AND update parents of unsatisfactory grades only if we have a valid email in the HAC system. You will be getting a ton of information involving the school rules that basically boil down to two simple statements:
Be nice. Be prepared and willing to work.
You should also look at the list of items/clothing that are not permitted on public school grounds. When students follow those two rules and refrain from bringing/wearing items they shouldn’t . . . there is never a problem. As far as supplies for English class – Every day bring something to write with and something to write on. Every day. We love your kids. We want them to learn and grow. Our job is to make them do things they don’t want to do. To make them believe they CAN do those things they don’t believe they can. To help them improve themselves. We need parents to help, so . . . -
