8 Girls Volleyball Championship Tournament

CISAA 3J 7/8 Girls Volleyball Championship Tournament – November 1st and 2nd, 2013 @ Calgary Academy Tournament Format: o TWO pools of FIVE teams; o Round Robin Matches will be TWO GAMES only. o Top TWO teams (after Round Robin play) advance to the semi-final; o Semi Final and Medal Matches are best of 3 - CISAA Rules. Caps on 27 and 17. Round Robin Tie Break – If two or more teams are tied at the end of the preliminary round, the following criteria will be applied, in order: 1) The team having the best ratio of won/lost matches, considering matches between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; 2) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering matches played between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; 3) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering all matches of the round, will be ranked higher; 4) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering games played between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; 5) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering all games played during the round, will be ranked higher; 6) Toss of coin.
