Vote Statement "Asha-U.Florida approves a budget of INR 3,00,000 for Senthilkumar Gopalan's Fellowship for the year 2016, extendable up to a period of 4 years" Yes: 10 No: 0 Abstain: 0 Team Asha/Gate River Run: Last date for profile registration is Jan-31st. Minimum of $50 to be raised by March. Many new runners (around 30) have registered. Profile updates to be carried out by Ravi/Yogi. Movie Screening: Unable to contact producers of 'I am Malala'. We should definitely screen some movie this semester to utilize the SG funds. Unutilized funds will likely result in budget cuts in the future. Explore mainstream commercial movies which may have a social cause. Speaker sessions Similar to movie screening: We must utilize SG funds for a speaker session this semester. Look for local speakers and file SAR asap. o Possibility to check with remote speakers as well, but payment becomes an issue.
