Entry Fee & Registration
Format
Fee is $200 per entrant. Entry fee includes greens fee, continental breakfast or lunch, team photo, cart rental, practice tee, putting contest, snacks, Celebration Dinner and a Vera Bradley gift.
Play format will be a modified Florida Scramble. Tournament play is open to women amateurs. Field is limited to 30 morning teams and 30 afternoon teams.
A rain date is not available. In the event of inclement weather, a phone hotline is established to announce alternate plans for the day.
Please wear appropriate golf attire (i.e., no denim, cutoffs, tank tops, etc.). Soft spikes are mandatory. If necessary, please have spikes changed prior to the day of the tournament (any golf course can replace spikes).
Entry deadline is Friday, April 7, 2017 in order to play in the Vera Bradley Classic and receive a ticket to the Tuesday, April 18, 2017 Vera Bradley Annual Sale. Entry deadline is Friday, April 14, 2017 in order to play in the Classic only. The committee reserves the right to close registration prior to the deadline if the field is full.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first through fourth lowest team scores on both nines. Proximity awards will also be presented.
Although individuals may enter, the committee cannot guarantee that all individual entries will be paired. It is recommended to enter as a team. Please notify tournament chairperson of any team member changes. Starting times and hole number will be confirmed via a letter sent at the end of May. Celebration Dinner
A cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and awards program will be held at Sycamore Hills Golf Club on Monday, June 5 at 5 pm for all Classic participants. The Classic pledges to raise spirits, hope, awareness and resources for the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds from the Classic support the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research Laboratories at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center.
