NEXT SABBATH we will be worshipping in the Sanctuary, all together at 11:10 am for a joint service. We are awaiting verses and furniture for the lobby, but the bulk of the work is done. This will be an important moment of celebration, as we re-dedicate the building and ourselves as a church family. Please make sure to arrive at Sabbath School before 10 so we can have a full hour of discussion.
CHUCK KERN, actively involved at the Victorville Seventh-day Adventist Church from 1965 to 1994, passed to his rest in Jesus last Sabbath, September 2nd. Please keep his wife of 67 years, Shirlee, in your prayers. Services will be held next weekend, with a viewing on Friday night the 15th from 5-7 pm at EmmersonBartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA, a funeral service on Sabbath the 16th at 2:30 pm at the Palm Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a burial on Monday, September 18th at 11 am at Montecito Memorial Park in Loma Linda.
