•As seen on a number of postcards, Hawaii's most famous and recognized landmark is a 300,000 year old volcanic crater at the end of Waikiki. Hike up this crater's 760-ft wall and treat yourself to a 360-degrees of ocean, city, and mountain views. Trail is mostly paved;1.6 miles roundtrip. •Park open from 6:00am - 6:00pm daily. •This little shopping center is home to a number of famous eateries and shops. Grab a bite to eat or drink at Kona Brewing Company, the proud brewery of the world-famous Longboard lager, or eat like a local with a "Poke" bowl from Pa`ina Cafe. •Snorkel in this bay-sized "aquarium" as you are greeted by dozens of curious tropical fish. This marine sanctuary is home to over a hundred kinds of native fish. •This golden beach is a bodyboarder's paradise and is known for it's powerful year-round shorebreak. The surf conditions here can excite even the most advanced swimmers but they are also very dangerous-if in doubt, don't go out! •Take a stroll alongside Oahu's southeastern coastline and reward yourself to magnificent views of the windward coast and offshore islets. Once you reach the top, a historic lighthouse sits cliff-side with the Pacific ocean as it's backdrop and on a clear day, you may be able to see the islands of Moloka`i and Lana`i and maybe a whale (or two) during Hawaii's whale watching season, traditionally November - April.
