East Asian Church Planting Division
Trip to Malaga, Spain From October 310, we visited Christar's International office for training in Malaga, Spain. Starting in January, we will have the privilege of directing Christar's Church Planting Division in East Asia. This will entail mentoring church planting teams in East Asia, from Mongolia to Indonesia. We will continue to evangelize, disciple, mentor and build teams here in our current home, but, will also travel to mentor our leaders and the teams they represent about 10 12 weeks a year. We are humbled by this opportunity. Evangelistic Studies On Wednesdays, Tom has the privilege of ministering to believers from Yemen, Sudan and Iran. Recently, Nash came to Christ through the ministry of one of Tom's disciples, Norman. They have been discovered as evangelists by their embassy, and articles have been printed in their papers in their home country. Pray for protection for Nash, Norman and Matthew. Pray for Tom as he continues to disciple them. Wednesdays, at two pm, Tom and Sam work with Ali. He is a believer and was baptized this last year. Although there is a language barrier, we are able to communicate and train Ali. He also attends a fellowship from his home country. Wednesdays at 4:30 PM, Tom has a study with Iranians. Recently, Peter came to Christ. Sarah, Zarah, Fatima, Rebecca and Jennifer are still studying the Chronological Teaching. Pray for them as they continue on their journey to fully embrace Christ.

Pray for Pastor Rey and his son Jon Pastor Rey is still being held. Pray for his son, Jon, who along with a group of lawyers, will file a case of negligence against the police in this country. Make a note to especially pray throughout the day on October 18 (17th in the West).
Prayer Requests Pray for Pastor Rey. We still do not know where he is being held, or if he is alive, etc. Pray on October 18. Pray for us as we begin to direct Christar's Church Planting Division in East Asia in January. Pastor Rey Praise that Adam and his family have resumed their discipleship and worship. Pray for a regular livelihood for their family. Local believers are currently meeting their needs. Thank you for praying for Jasmin's family. We are still trying to find a church to sponsor them in Canada so that they can immigrate. Tonight we are meeting with the brothers and father to determine their understanding of the good news. Pray for Colin and Carolyn. They are engaged to be married on June 9, 2018. They are currently in Peru as Carolyn finishes up her internship with Johns Hopkins University through November 5. Pray for Carolyn as she writes her thesis in the next three weeks. Pray for Mae Ann, Jadie and Hayzel to be able to join us soon from the Philippines. Tom will meet with them during his trip to the Philippines October 23 to November 6. Pray for Jhun and Eden who have decided to join our Kauswagan Team in the Philippines. Colin and Carolyn They have been evacuated from the war in Marawi for the last months. Pray for Eden Vigil as they continue to compile the research from our environmental team. Pray for our evangelistic study with families from Iran. We are currently studying Joseph. Pray for our teams in the Philippines who are ministering to evacuees in Marawi, Baloi and Iligan. I will join them on a medical outreach on November 3. Praise the Lord that our business with Perfectly Natural Herbs has increased. They have been able to support all the workers without any outside help for the past five months.
