Did You Know? •Women veterans are more likely to end up homeless than civilian women. •The number of homeless women veterans has nearly doubled over the last decade. •One out of every ten homeless veterans, under the age of 45, is a woman with her children living on the streets. •Out of the estimated 17,000 homeless in Los Angeles county, 25 to 30 percent are veterans in the streets of San Gabriel Valley.
