A QUILTER'S TRUNK SHOW Threads Galore Quilt Shop is pleased to sponsor a Quilter's Trunk Show, presented by Brenda Hall on Saturday, October 13th, at 2 PM at the Country Club Inn in Rangeley. Brenda Hall is a Certified Instructor of the Judy Niemeyer Method and is proud to make this quilt piecing method available to retreat groups and quilt classes around New England. Ms. Hall is a member of the Board of the Images Quilt Festival in Lowell, MA and volunteers on the Board of Directors of the Cocheco Quilters Guild in Dover, NH. Ms. Hall's intricately pieced quilts feature amazing use of color to bring to life the three dimensional designs of Ms. Niemeyer. Radiating star points, continuous curves and circles provide movement and interest to each quilt. Quilts to be shown include “Autumn Splendor”, “Glacier Star”, “Prairie Star”, “Touch of Spring”, “Sunflower Illusion”, “Raindrops”, “Bali Wedding Star” and “Indian Summer”, plus many other pieces. Following the Trunk Show, Ms. Hall will demonstrate her method and hints for successful fabric selection for piecing quilt designs that utilize a multitude of fabrics.
