EPAT A web-based application to evaluate the environmental performance of paper
environmental paper assessment tool EPAT® is an innovative assessment tool that allows buyers and sellers of paper products to evaluate environmental performance data along the paper supply chain. By providing a consistent framework and metrics, EPAT creates the opportunity for informed discussion about the environmental attributes and trade-offs involved in paper purchasing decisions. EPAT was developed by the sustainability nonprofit GreenBlue in collaboration with leading paper buyers and suppliers.
What does EPAT measure? EPAT collects data at the mill level around seven environmental performance categories that represent opportunities for improvement along the supply chain of paper sourcing, manufacturing, and use.
