Dear students, Thank you for working with your teacher and classmates to monitor and restore the  health of the Chicago River. As an Adopt A River School, you are an important partner with Friends of  the Chicago River. "Friends" is an organization that works to improve and protect the Chicago River  system for people, plants, and animals. We believe that one of the best ways to ensure the future  health of the river is to work with the young people who will be future conservation leaders.   1.
