Bryon Callaway came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in November of 1999. Less than 1 year after his salvation, God opened a door for him to go on a mission trip to the country of El Salvador. It was on this trip that God gave him a passion for God’s word, people, and the mission. Between 2000 and 2009 he was able to go on trips to various countries in Central America. These trips only strengthened and confirmed what God was doing in his life. In 2009 he was hired on staff as the Children’s Director of First Bible Baptist Church of Blue Springs, Missouri. It was there where God continued to train him up on how to be the servant that Christ desired him to be. Bryon was content with being a children’s minister, but knew that the call on his life as a foreign missionary had never left. He still believed that he would one day be sent out as a missionary to Central America, but that all changed through the testimony of 2 missionaries. In 2011 at First Bible Baptist’s mission’s conference, Bobby Bonner and John Sarra presented the work and great need for workers in Zambia, Africa. It was here that God redirected his heart. Since the conference he’s been able to visit Zambia in 2012, 2013 and 2014. During this period of time, God has confirmed that this is where He wants him and his family to minister. Bryon met his wife, Tammy Callaway, at First Bible Baptist Church in 1999. They have four children, Tonya, Loren, Aubrey and Titus. Tammy has been a nurse for many years, and she is excited to see how God is going to use her in Zambia to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the people. Bryon is looking forward in leading his family to where God would have them to be. Their desire is to not only see people accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, but that they would also be conformed to the very image of Christ. The Callaway family has claimed

Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us…” It is God who is able; it is us who must be willing.

Since August 2013, Josh has served as the Administrative Pastor at Somerville Baptist Church. He graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1998 with a degree in Pastoral Theology. Pastor Josh and his wife, Kim, have 3 children Jordyn, Jarrett, and Jackson. He is here at OHBC’s 2016 PROCLAIM Conference to share an opportunity for us to get involved in a ministry started by his church, Somerville Baptist... The Filipino National Pastors Project is an innovative approach to world missions. Our goal is to teach, train, and finance Filipino national pastors so they, in turn, can reach their own people. FNPP is a ministry of Somerville Baptist Church. Missionary Joe Moral, himself a Filipino national Pastor, will oversee the ministry in the Philippines. Through the church he pastors, Moral will be responsible for the training of the prospective pastors and have the oversight as they get started. These national pastors will then be supported on a 3-year descending scale as they start their churches and get a solid nucleus of members to work with. After the initial 3 years, the financial support will end, allowing these new fledgling churches to “fly on their own”.

About Ryan & Heather Ryan and Heather met in college and were married in the summer of 2004 after graduation. For the first two years of their marriage, they served on staff at Metro Baptist Church and school in Nashville, TN. During that time, after much prayer and a survey trip, they surrendered to go to Thailand. In July of 2007 they had their first child, Addisyn. Just ten short weeks later they arrived in Bangkok and immediately began learning the Thai language.

During language school they were able to serve in an established Thai church, Grace Baptist, and gain experience working with Thai nationals. During this time their second child Branson was born in the summer of 2009. After completing language school, they served in another Thai church, Streams of Blessing Baptist, for a year. Through the connection of this church, they were put in contact with a small group of believers in the city of Baan Bueng. These believers needed help in planting a church. So in January of 2012, The Hills moved to the province of Chonburi, about 1 1/2 hours from Bangkok. Later that year, they had their second son Judson. Over the past 4.5 years they have invested their lives in Immanuel Baptist Church through evangelism and discipleship. In June 2016 the church was officially turned over to national leadership.

About Jason & Lori After spending two years learning the language and culture in Peru, the Holts arrived to Santiago, Chile in early 2005 to begin their ministry. Shortly after arriving, they made plans to launch Faith Baptist Church. What started with a Bible study with a lady and her two children has now grown into a thriving autonomous congregation of well over 100 people. In 2010, with trained Chilean pastors from Faith Baptist, they launched two more churches. It is thrilling to see new believers grow to maturity and strive to reach their own people with the gospel. By God’s grace, their team of churches has now grown to 7 churches!

Born and raised in metro Atlanta, Chris & Sherry Waye became followers of Jesus at an early age, despite both coming from non-christian homes. Reached through the bus ministry of Victory Baptist shortly after salvation, Chris was baptized and became a part of an exciting youth ministry. It was there that he would begin to grow in Christ, learn the Scriptures, surrender his life to preach the Word, and would even meet his future wife. Invited by a high school friend, Sherry came to a church event where she would hear and respond to the gospel. She too would be grounded in her faith over the next several years, before she and Chris both attended Bible college. Chris and Sherry have four children with whom they serve together. They have spent time serving their local church through various ministries before entering into missionary service. They completed their on-the-field training in Peru, South America with veteran missionaries, as well as assisting in planting a church in the country of Thailand. After arriving to the United Kingdom upon the completion of deputation, they partnered with another family already on the field to plant and establish Downham Baptist Church. In May of 2017, they will return to London where they will continue their work of church planting by starting a second work in the city. Their goal is to make disciples of Christ among a very needy people in the city of London, plant churches, and train up leaders for the work of the ministry.

Dissecting the Model Church: What Should We Expect In A Church Plant? A Biblical Leadership

A Committed Congregation

A Focus On Jesus

1 Thessalonians 1:1-5 1

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 5

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

The Road to Planting Model Churches is Paved with Unexpected Challenges At times the road is filled with victories.

At times the road is filled with disappointments.

Always the challenges in the road lead to amazing opportunities.

Acts 16:1-10 1

Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: 2

Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium. 3

Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek. 4

And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. 5

And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily. 6

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, 7

After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. 8

And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

9

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Philippians 4:10-20 10

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 14

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

15

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. 19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 1:6-10 6

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost. 7

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

8

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. 9

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

THE FAITH PROMISE PLAN 1. WHAT IT IS NOT: A. It is not a pledge. B.

It is not something that someone will come to collect.

C.

It is not something you sit down and figure out how much you can give.

D. It is not to take away from what you already give to the church.

2. WHAT IT IS: A. It is between you and God. B.

It is waiting upon God to tell you how much He wants you to give for reaching the world for Christ.

C.

You must trust Him to supply it.

D. You and the missionary become partners in faith. Both must trust the Lord.

3. GIVING TO MISSIONS IS IN ACCORD WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. A. Everyone is to give something toward missions.

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

B.

Some go beyond and give more by faith.

2 Corinthians 8:7-8 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
