Ripon’s residential atmosphere and the learning that occurs here – both in and out of the classrooms – makes it a true learning community. Community defines Ripon. Our personal approach to education, student/faculty relationships, small classes, residential nature and liberal arts focus all help set us apart, but none of it works without a city that supports the college and a college that supports the city. Our mission statement includes a commitment to a “richly personalized education.” At Ripon, that means a degree of faculty and staff interaction beyond your expectations. It means designing your own major, or working side-by-side with a professor on a research project. It means getting involved with people who share your interests, or starting your own organization. Above all, it means knowing you have a high degree of flexibility and choice throughout your college journey with us.
