Creating New Test Sessions Test Sessions

Choose New Test Session from the Dashboard, or select Create a Test Session from the Summative Tests menu

Click the list icon to access the Select a Test window

Choose Online or Paper for Mode, as applicable

Enter your testing window and set start and end dates

Enter the test session name – only the first 6 characters of the title appear on the pre-ID.

Enter your testing window start and end dates, times, active days of testing, and observance of daylight savings

Define a title and any special instructions for the session

Proctor Caching is highly recommended for summative online testing

Test Session Details

Allows you to monitor the test session, manage students, and start the session

Click Add to select students for the session

Adding Students

Multiple Session Details Choose Test Administration.

Select mode – Paper or Online.

Determine your testing window.

All available grades will display; select which subjects to administer.

Seating Adequate writing surfaces, ample  seating, good lighting, comfortable  temperatures, quiet atmosphere,  freedom from distraction Whenever possible, seat students in  rows to facilitate distribution and  collection of materials Students should be minimally 3 feet  apart shoulder to shoulder and front to  back; students should face the same  direction. Cover content related maps, charts,  bulletin boards, posters, etc.

Authorization tickets can only be used by the student listed on the ticket; failure to do so will result in testing and reporting irregularities
