ACU Wildcat Twilight Track and Field Meet Wednesday April 27, 2016 MEET INFORMATION Entry Information Entry Fee - Entry Fee is $300 per team, per gender. $10 per unattached athletes (unattached athletes must pay online using their personal direct athletics account) CASH OR CHECK ONLY - Make check payable to Abilene Christian University. Entry Form – Entries will be submitted through Direct Athletics. Entry Deadline - The cut-off date for entries and scratches will be at 3:00 P.M., Monday April 25, 2016. Beyond this date, only scratches will be allowed. Scratches can be made at the direct athletics website or emailed to [email protected]. Team check-in - Please check in at the track offices located north of the third turn of the track to pick-up heat sheets. Event Entry Limitations – We are NOT limiting the number of athletes in events. Parking and Athlete Drop Off – We would like to have all buses park in the designated bus parking in front of the main entrance to the track stadium on Campus Court. Athletes may be dropped off and picked up at the main stadium entrance at the bleachers. The parking lot to the south of the stadium will be designated for officials and spectator parking. The physical address of the stadium is 2117 Campus Court, Abilene, TX, 79699. Restrooms and Concessions – There are restrooms located at the north end of the track in the softball/soccer office building. Concessions are located on the east side of the softball/soccer building. Port-a-potties will be located on the north throwing field and the warm up field located directly east of the track.

Qualifying and finals – All running events finals. Competitors will be pre-seeded by entry times and distances. We will take the top nine competitors to the finals in the field events. Minimum Marks – We will have the following minimum marks for the field events. These marks are subject to change based on number of entries per event. Hammer Throw: Men 140’/Women 120’ Javelin Throw: Men 140’/Women 100’ Shot Put: Men 45’/Women 40’ Discus Throw: Men 150’/Women 130’ Long Jump: Men 21’/Women 17’ Triple Jump: Men 44’/Women 35’ Athlete Check-In – All running events will need to check-in at the clerk’s tent 30 minutes prior to the start of race located on the warm-up field located directly east of the track. All field event athletes will need to check-in at the competition venue with the head official 30 minutes prior to the start of the field event. Warm-Up – Warm-ups will be on the field located south of Powell Fitness Center that is directly east of the track. Tents will also be allowed on the perimeter or this field. Spikes – There will be no spike check for this meet. All variations of spikes are allowed on the track surface.
