ADAPT Workshop Interested in implementing ADAPT (Agricultural Data Application Programing Toolkit) or learning how you can contribute to this open source project? Come to an interactive one-day session to learn more about getting started! The ADAPT Workshop is an opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the ADAPT Project to get first-hand information from members of the ADAPT Oversight Committee. The workshop will have two concurrent tracks; the Technical Track is developer-focused, led by the ADAPT Technical Team. This day long track will cover the ADAPT data model, framework and plugin manager. This session will provide guidance to developers on where to start for both FMIS's wanting to integrate the framework as well as MICS manufacturers planning to develop a plugin for their file format. The Business Track is a half-day session focused on the commercial side of the project and will be led by the ADAPT Business Team. Participants will learn the history of the AgGateway SPADE project and how it led to the creation of ADAPT and continues to provide input. The Business Track will also review the business case for adoption of ADAPT, as well as the open source licensing and a high-level explanation of how the system works from the perspectives of farmers, software developers and terminal manufacturers.
