INSTRUCTIONS A.
The following additions, deletions, revisions, and/or amendments to the original drawings and specifications are hereby made a part thereof, and a part of the contract documents. All provisions of said documents shall remain in force and effect, except as herein amended.
B.
This supplement to the specifications is issued prior to the receipt of bids. All work covered in this supplement shall be included in the original quotation; and the supplement will be considered part of the Contract Documents. Proposer must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the Proposal Form. Please consider the following and incorporate it into your bid:

Is the building to be made from wood framing or steel? The proposed building can be either wood framing or steel so long as the building meets the requirements as outlined in the request for proposal.

The documentation mentioned that columns can be used to support the 60’ opening, so long as they are a minimum of 20’ apart… that leads me to believe it’s intended to be a steel structure because wood framed buildings can only span columns a max of 8’ +/The building shall be designed to accommodate three (3) bin sized approximately 20 ft by 30 ft. Bins shall be designed without obstruction to allow for storage and removal of salt and other materials. It is the onus of the Proposer to decide which material to use to meet the building requirements.

Please confirm if your intent is to have a pole barn structure or a preengineered structure, as no design plans have been provided. The building can be either so long as it meets the minimum requirements as outlined in the request for proposal. The proposals will be graded based on the rubric in paragraph IV Selection Criteria of section 00 11 19 Request for Proposals.

Is there any requirement for electric, such as lights or power within the building? No electrical work will be needed for this project. Can the City provide a copy of the bidder list. This RFP was posted on the City of Dover web site. We currently do not have the capability do provide a list of firms that have reviewed or downloaded the specifications. Therefore, no bidders list is available.
