Contractors are reminded to submit an UNBOUND copy of the Bid Form and required attachments. Submit bids to Garden City as shown in the Advertisement. This addendum shall be included as part of the Contract Documents. Items in this Addendum apply to all drawings and specifications sections whether referenced or not involving the portion of the work added, deleted modified or otherwise addressed in this Addendum. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification.

Q. When is the preferred time to begin the project? A. After August 6, 2017 (Raspberry Days) Q. Do the excess chips need to be swept and removed from the road surface? A. Excess chips can be swept to the side of the road except in locations where landscaping exists. Chips should not fill any drainage ditches or collection boxes / pipes. Q. Is there a location where chips can be stockpiled? A. The City has a location at Heritage Park, just north of Buttercup Lane near the fish pond where chips can be stored. Q. Is the contractor responsible for resident notifications? A. The contractor should notify the residents in the area with a door hanger 48 hours before work begins on the project.
