The Bidder must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to acknowledge receipt may subject the Bidder to disqualification. This Addendum consists of four (4) 8½ x 11 pages, and includes as attachments, three (3) Request for Clarification forms, six (6) Request for Substitution forms, and eight (8) 8½ x 11 Sketch Sheets. The Contract Documents are hereby modified as follows:
NOTE - THIS ADDENDUM INCLUDES A CHANGE OF BID DATE. PREVIOUS ADDENDA AD5-1 Refer to Addendum 4 item AD4-30: Delete Flag Note 5 and substitute “5. Modify sprinkler layout to accommodate new air handling unit. See Sheets M-14, M-15 and M-16 for locations and equipment layouts. Typical of eighteen (18) penthouses.” GENERAL Request for Clarification (dated 10 April 2013): Reference to Section 23 0923. AD5-2 Requested Clarification: What is the existing Siemens front-end software/platform? Response: Siemens Insight Workstation with APOGEE System Software & Web Applications. AD5-3 Requested Clarification: Who will be responsible for integrating the new DDC with the existing system? Response: The successful bidder is required integrate the new controls with the existing software. All points in this project must be programmed into the existing software. AD5-4 Requested Clarification: What is the preferred method of integration with the Siemens system; ex. BACnet IP point server? Response: The existing system uses BACnet/IP. AD5-5 Requested Clarification: Are there any existing controls or systems that are to remain on the Siemens system? Response: All existing equipment not included in this project will remain on the existing Siemens system. All new equipment must interface with the existing Siemens system. Response: Air handling units AHU-1-18 as specified in Section 23 7313 Modular Central Station AirHandling Units will require controls per Sections 230923. Air handling units AHU-29 and AHU-30 will have factory mounted controls per the applicable specification sections. Sequence and points for all AHUs are per the appropriate portions of 23 0993. See also Addendum 3. Request for Clarification (dated 10 April 2013): Reference to Section 23 0993. AD5-7 Requested Clarification: Please specify which AHUs are to be controlled per sequence referenced in 230993-3.3 (AHU-1 thru AHU-14 are not mentioned). AD5-8 Requested Clarification: AHU sequence of operations call for OA economizer damper and min OA damper as well as monitoring of both the min and total OA flow.
