Adding Games and Events to Team Calendar All team games, practices and other events (i.e. team party, tournament) can be added to the team calendar. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
First sign into Sports NGIN Browse to your team page (Teams -> In-House -> Age Group) Specific Team Page (Athletics in this example) Click Edit Mode in upper left, so the screen looks like the figure below Click Manage Team (a new window will open)
Add Events (i.e. Practice, team party) 6. Click New Event
7. Enter the event details in the dialog box. Note: Event Name, Date and Start Time are required. Entering the End Time and Location are encouraged. 8. When complete, click the Add Event button
9. Validate the new event in the Event list
10. Repeat Steps 6 – 9 for each event
Add Games Adding games is very similar to adding events. 1. Complete steps 1-5 from Adding an Event 2. Click the New Game button
3. Enter the game details in the dialog box. a. Do not change Subseason b. In this example, the Athletics are the Away Team. In this case, select New Team in the Home Team box, and enter Home Team name in the Team Name box (Blue Jays) c. The Date and Start Time are required. Entering the Location is encouraged. 4. When complete, click the Add Game button
5. Validate game entry. Notice “@ Blue Jays” indicating Blue Jays are the Home Team
6. To add a game as the Home Team, leave your team in the Home Team box, and select New Team in the Opponents box, then click Add Game
7. Validate game entry. Notice “vs. Cubs” indicating Cubs are the Visiting Team.
8. Validate the new games by checking the calendar on the main team page
