Adding Outside Workshops Attended to eduphoria! workshop If you attend ANY workshops outside of Dayton ISD, you should add them to your eduphoria! workshop portfolio. This keeps your portfolio accurate and up-to-date. Examples of outside workshops include Region IV, a state conference related to your field, Eduhero, etc. FIRST THINGS FIRST: Be sure that the certificate you intend to upload is in digital format stored in the location of your choice. ADDING A NEW PORTFOLIO ENTRY: 1. On the Workshop tab, click My Portfolio. 2. In the Portfolio Options section, click Add New Portfolio Entry.

3. Complete the Portfolio Entry Wizard. First, choose Outside Workshop or Conference.

4. Click Next. 5. Enter a title and a brief description for the workshop.

6. Click Next.

7. Select the start date and time for the workshop.

8. Click Next. 9. Select the ending date and time for the workshop.

10. Click Next.

11. Select Yes to request district credit.

12. Click Next. 13. Enter the number of hours being requested and any necessary additional comments.

14. Click Next.

15. Select Goal 2A #1 as our district goal.

16. Click Next. 17. Select At a later time, after I modify the entry. NOTE: This option allows you to now add your certificate(s) as a file attachment. CREDIT WILL NOT BE GRANTED WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENTATION OF ATTENDANCE.

19. Click Finish. YOU’RE NOT FINISHED YET! Now to add your certificate (or any other relevant file attachments). 1. Select your newly added portfolio entry.

2. On the Notes tab, add any relevant note in the My Notes section, if additional clarification would be helpful. It is not necessary that you add a note. 3. Also on the Notes tab, in the Portfolio File Attachments section, click the paper clip icon on the far right. 4. Click the Choose File button to browse to the stored location of your certificate on your computer. 5. Click Attach File.

6. Notice the newly added certificate in your list of Portfolio File Attachments. 7. Click Save. 8. Finally, click the Submit for Approval button.

9. Notice that Credit has been requested and is pending approval.

Your credit request will now be awarded or denied by your principal/supervisor. You will receive an autogenerated e-mail from eduphoria! regarding the credit request status. NOTE: It is NOT necessary to add any workshops attended INSIDE Dayton ISD to your portfolio. These workshops are already set up in eduphoria! workshop. After attendance at in-district workshops, credit is granted and these sessions will appear in your portfolio.
