CITY OF KENAI RESOLUTION NO. 2017-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI , ALASKA, AWARDING AN AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KENAI PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING BOILER REPLACEMENT WHEREAS, the following bids were received on July 20, 2017, BIDDERS Enqineers Estimate All-Star Peninsula Plumbinq Wolverine Mantech ; and,
BASE BID
$1 40,000 $89,500 $115,350 $127,770 $129,000
WHEREAS, All-Star Plumbing and Heating LLC submitted the lowest responsive base; and, WHEREAS, award of the base bid to All-Star Plumbing and Heating LLC would be in the best interest of the city; and, WHEREAS, the recommendation from City Administration is to award the agreement to All-Star Plumbing and Heating LLC for the total approximate cost of $89,500; and, WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA: Section 1.
That the City Manager is authorized to award an agreement for the project entitled "KENAI PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING BOILER REPLACEMENT" to All-Star Plumbing and Heating LLC for the bid amount of $89,500.00.
Section 2.
That this resolution takes effect immediately upon passage.

This purpose of this memo is to recommend adoption of a resolution awarding an agreement to construct the Public Safety Building Boiler Replacement project. The following bids were opened July 20, 2017.
