ission Statement: To offer young minds the opportunity to explore their imaginations, discover physical fitness, expand their knowledge of sports and develop a growing sense of Adventure through the camp’s diverse activities.
Adventure Day Camp is different than your “normal” summer day camp!! Each day the campers experience 5 different subjects. Groups are divided by grade, with the curriculum designed to be age appropriate, educational, and fun! Our Goal is to blend summer camp fun and nature education. Most of our time is spent outdoors!! Kids stay active by participating in daily scheduled educational programs focusing on... Arts & Crafts Daily art lesson and hands-on craft projects. Team Building Build relationships and work on problem solving skills. Creative Arts Play, act, impersonate, DANCE and have a ball using your imagination. Science Become adventurers and discover nature through hands-on trips into the woods and other FUN science experiments. Sports Run, kick, pass- we keep the campers active with lots of games. It’s PE class outside everyday! Camp is staffed by trained, qualified and competent college students and experienced adults/teachers many of whom are pursuing/have obtained a degree in Parks & Recreation, Elementary Education, or Physical Education.
Dates: Monday through Friday
June 16 through August 15 You can sign-up for as many weeks as you need.
Time: 9 AM-3 PM Aftercare: Is 1 ½ hour before or after camp for an additional $2 per hour. Location: Masters Pavilion Kids are outside everyday and are covered in case of rain. Food: Campers supply their own sack lunch,
Boardman Park provides drink & snack Age requirements: 6 years old, must have completed Kindergarten thru age 12. Tips:
*We encourage campers to bring a reusable water bottle to refill on hot days. *Please dress your child for the Weather as we will be OUTSIDE even in light rain *All campers must be signed in & out each day *Best time to apply sunscreen & bug spray is before drop off
