agency login Introduction The Agency Login Portal was created to centralize the management of multiple merchant programs for ShareASale’s agency partners. The new and updated version of the portal takes the management to a new level by including much more detailed information about the merchant program as well as including an API. A login can be created by contacting the Agency Relationship Manager, Bethany Minor. She will create a username and password for the portal that you can use to access the portal. You may login at www.shareasale.com/o-login.cfm.
Register Merchant/Remove Merchant In order to get started with the agency login, you must first login to the merchant account and create an additional login. This can be done by navigating to My Account → Manage Additional Logins. Once the login has been created you will then to navigate to the top of the screen and click “Register.” This will generate a pop up screen where you type in your created username and password. If there comes a time when the merchant closes the program or switches management, you can easily remove the merchant by clicking ‘Remove’ at the top of the screen. You will see the this popup where you will need to select the client to be removed and then click ‘Submit’.
Merchants Tab The merchants tab shows a summary of the merchants registered for your Agency account. It includes data like the merchant balance, EPC, Conversion, Average Sale, and any warnings such as a low balance or waiting ticket.
We updated this data by also adding in a “More…” option. The purpose of the “More” option is to provide ShareASale specific details about each merchant account. This information will give specific details about the merchant program. The goal was to ensure any users with access to the accounts would have instant knowledge of all pertinent data related to the various merchants.

API Tab
Another new feature in the Agency Login Portal is the addition of the API. To get started, you must navigate to the API tab and choose to “Enable API.” From there, you will need to input the IP Address from which you will be sending and receiving requests.
From there, you can go through and make the following requests:
REPORT REQUESTS
PROGRAM REQUESTS
These requests reflect options such as getting the Merchant Summary Report, Merchant Support Tickets, or approving/ declining affiliates for the program. This functionality was previously only able to be accessed by logging into the merchant account. With the API, this can now all be automated to save you time and most importantly make routine tasks simpler for you. This should all result in a greater focus on long term initiatives on your part for your clients.

Affiliates Tab The Affiliates Tab is essentially a virtual representation of everything that can be done with the program maintenance requests included in the API.
It will show you some basic data about the pending affiliates for the program including the apply date, affiliate ID, website, location, merchant, and merchant ID. It is possible to get more details by clicking the affiliate name which will give more info. You can then click on the blue drop down next to the apply date to approve, decline, pre-approve, or pre-decline affiliates. The real winning point of this is the ability to pre-approve or pre-decline affiliates. This can also be done by clicking the arrow in the gray box titled “Individual Affiliate Approval Rules.” This will allow you to create a “New Rule.”
The new rule feature should be used in circumstances, when you already know the affiliate you would like to pre-approve or predecline. The rule allows you to either whitelist or blacklist affiliate for all and/or select merchant programs. This tool could be very powerful in terms of relationship building for VIP affiliates. Once you have put in parameters, the affiliate will be placed under either Auto-Approve or Auto-Decline affiliates. To execute the rule you must click “Save and Execute.”
Conclusion The Agency login is a powerful tool that we hope will help you do everyday tasks more efficiently.
