Agnes Emma Josephs
Agnes Emma Josephs was born on May 27, 1919 in Brandon to William and Emma Sarvie. Agnes married Milton Josephs July 29, 1943. She and Milt worked together in home construction in Alexandria and also the concession business. She enjoyed painting, knitting, quilting and Scrabble. For several years after retirement they wintered in Brownsville, TX. Agnes Emma Josephs, 98, passed away on March 5, 2018 at Grand Arbor in Alexandria. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Milt in 2007, a brother, Walter Sarvie and a sister, Mildred Holmgren. She is survived by son Kenneth (Penny) Josephs and three daughters Sharon Blalock, Kathryn (John) Faust and Carol (Michael) Johnson; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears, But let my spirit calm your fears, I gave you my love. You can only guess How much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone! So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories that lie within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near, And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear All of my love around you soft and clear.
