Installing AGO2GO on a Mac 10.9 to 10.11 This has been confirmed to work with Mac OS X 10.11 "El Capitan" We will be installing 2 applications and adding some settings that will streamline the login process. The 3 applications are as follows; 1. Citrix Receiver 12.0.0 (I’ll use the abbreviation "CR" in the instructions) 2. NetScaler Gateway 3.1.4 (I’ll use the abbreviation "NSG" in the instructions)

Along with these instructions on ACE, there is a file named "AGO2GO Mac Apps.zip" that you can transfer to your Mac's Desktop. When the zip file is on the Mac, double-click the zip file and it will create a folder called "AGO2GO Mac Apps" containing the 3 application installers. The installers end with the suffix ".dmg" in this folder. We will be installing the apps in the order they are listed above.

NETSCALER GATEWAY LOGIN ITEM To setup the NetScaler Gateway application to open automatically when logging on to your computer. Go to the Apple icon in the menu and choose System Preferences.

Choose "Users & Groups"

Lantz Newberry revised 08/20/2015

Choose the "Login Items" tab and click the "+" button to add an application.

Navigate to the Applications > Citrix folder, select "NSG" and click the Add button.

When you login to your Mac the NSG window should open automatically. If it does not, it's because of a conflict between the CR and NSG apps. You'll need to quit the CR app first, then open the NSG app. To close the CR app, use the CR icon in the menu bar and choose Quit. Make sure you're quitting CR and not NSG. After this initial setup of AGO2GO you will NOT be using Citrix Receiver at all, the only app you will be using is NetScaler Gateway, everything else works in the background.

Tip: For quick access to an app you can drag it from the Applications folder into your DOCK and it will create an alias of the apps. This does not move the app, it should still be in your Applications folder, this just creates a shortcut to open it.
