Aikin Socrates students complete MLK Service Project Socrates students sent gift boxes to soldiers in Afghanistan as part of their Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday service project. The students have learned that Dr. King was an advocate for peace and freedom. Their letters expressed their appreciation for the sacrifices made daily by our military for us to be able to have the freedoms that we enjoy in our country.
