Ailey Camp dancers perform at Hostos Community Theater August 14, 2015

 

Dancers showed off their skills during their end-of-camp performance in the Bronx. After six weeks of practicing, more than 100 campers from the Alvin Ailey Dance Camp performed at the Hostos Community Theater. For a quarter century, the camp has been using dance as a way to teach self-esteem, discipline and creativity to its students in the inner city.
