Air Quality Policy montanarushsoccer.com

Montana Rush Soccer Club’s main priority is not just the development of players in the aspects of soccer, but also to teach a healthy lifestyle to our players. The best thing that we do as a club is to ensure we are setting our players up for a healthy future. We are now going to enforce an air quality policy for the club and the complex. Effective immediately, we as a club will be utilizing a state ran website that determines the air quality for Great Falls. Any air quality red “Unhealthy” or worse (as per either airnow.gov or the Montana website: svc.mt.gov/deq/todaysair), all practice and games should be canceled. Air Quality orange “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups”, practice should be limited to 90 minutes. Those with asthma or other lung disease should be excused from practice and games. Participation for kids with asthma or lung disease is not recommended at Air Quality Orange. It is up to the parents to decide what their child can handle. Parents must advise coaches the child has respiratory sensitivities or disease and be available if they allow their child to participate. Air Quality yellow or green, no restrictions. If the air quality is red or higher at 4:30 pm, all field activity will be canceled! If any Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager, or parent violates this policy, they will have to meet with the Montana Rush Soccer Club Board members for disciplinary actions.
