Our Akron football program has been working very hard over the last several years to build a winning team comprised of men with good character and a program built on grit, sweat, and determination. We are working to turn Zips Football into a point of pride for the University, alumni, and community at large, and you are an integral part of that process. Each person and business who supports us can take pride in the fact that you are a part of the Zips team. By joining the Gridiron Club, you provide financial support to summer school scholarships for our student-athletes, team travel, recruiting funds, additional equipment, and other upgrades to our program that we otherwise would not be able to obtain. Our aim is to be Mid-American Conference Champions, and with the support of this community, it is a goal that we will achieve. Please take a moment to provide a gift to the Gridiron Club and join us in the stands this fall to cheer on your Akron Zips.
