OUTSIDE STORAGE: • The yard requires washing the bottom when hauled. This will be charged per foot, unless badly fouled with barnacles, in which case the charge will be on a time basis ($108.00/HR.) • Responsibility for drain plug removal will be the owner’s. • Boats must be available for hauling before Thanksgiving or an additional fee of 15% will be added. • Storing boats with the mast stepped is not recommended. Due to insurance regulations and court rulings, ALBERTSON MARINE will not be responsible for any damage arising from storing a boat with the mast stepped. • It is recommended that all boats stored outside be covered with full winter canvas or shrink wrap. Shrink wrap will sustain wind up to 50 MPH. Besides protecting the boat from the elements, it will also help avoid possible theft and/or vandalism.

On outside storage, no work may be performed by anyone other than yard employees and/or boat owner. Service of specialists such as radio, canvas and refrigeration technicians may be arranged through the yard office. Their work will be billed by the yard and a commission retained to compensate for the use of yard facilities. • Owners inspecting their boats or performing normal maintenance on their boats, while in yard or at docks, may do so at their own risk. • Owners are not permitted to burn paint, run engines, use heaters, light stoves or use flammable materials unless under yard supervision. • Boat owners must keep the areas around their boats clean or the yard will do so at the owner’s expense. • All non-docking customers must remove boat no later than 5 days after boat is launched in the spring or transient dockage fees will be charged. • Winter storage customers are given first priority in summer slip assignments for the following season. • All boats are measured from bow sprite to swim platform for total length. • Boats left in storage after May 1st may be charged additional storage. • Boats remaining at dock after November 1st will be hauled, winterized and placed in storage unless other arrangements have been made. • All boats must have a set of keys in office. • All boats must have hull and liability insurance.
