Alderfer Auction – Woodworking & Estate Farm Auction Directions to 629 Headquarters Road, Ottsville PA 18942 – 2 options:
Option 1 – twice as long as Option 2, involves a covered bridge with a 9’5” clearance but is over paved roads the entire time. o From 611/Easton Road (NOTE: if you get to 611 via 113, 113 crosses over 611 and turns into Hollow Horn Road. So just go straight through 611 if traveling on 113.) Turn onto Hollow Horn Road. (Hollow Horn is on the North bound side of 611/Easton Road) Follow Hollow Horn until you turn left onto Headquarters road. You will go over Frankefield Covered Bridge (9’ 5” Clearance) After the bridge, Hollow Horn turns into Cafferty Road naturally. Hollow Horn has the option to turn right at a “T”. Stay on Cafferty. At a no Stop Sign intersection, go Left onto Headquarters Road. o Follow the signs for Road Closed Ahead The 629 Headquarters home is at the bottom of the hill on the left hand side of the street. Option 2 – much quicker than Option 1, but this way involves an unpaved narrow-ish graded dirt road. o From 611/Easton Road Turn onto Tohickon Valley Road (Tohickon Valley Road is on the North bound side of 611/Easton Road) Turn Left onto Durham Road (there are noticeable signs for Beaver Valley Camp pointing the way) Turn Right onto Geigle Hill Road (again there are signs for Beaver Valley Camp pointing the way) Follow Geigle Hill until you come to a Stop Sign – the Stop Sign says “Except Right Turn”, TURN RIGHT. You come to a one lane bridge with a stop sign, go over it, and immediately turn right onto Sheephole Road (the dirt road). There is a sign clearly posted. Follow the dirt road (you’ll go over two bridges – 25 ton weight limit) At the end of the dirt road you will transfer onto paved road (Headquarters) and just around the bend, on the right, is 629 Headquarters Road
DO NOT TRY AND USE NAVIGATION. GARMIN, GOOGLE MAPS, THEY WILL NOT GET YOU TO THE ADDRESS. THE PROBLEM IS THERE IS A KEY BRIDGE OUT, AND YOU’LL END UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BRIDGE.
