ALEXANDER ROSSI 23 YEAR OLD AMERICAN, OFFICIAL DRIVER FOR RACING ENGINEERING GP2 TEAM AND ONLY AMERICAN TO HOLD FORMULA 1™ SUPER LICENSE Alexander Rossi is an elite athlete and very accomplished professional race car driver. From 2009 - 2014 Alexander was the Test or Official Reserve Driver for; BMW / Sauber, Team Lotus, Caterham and Marussia Formula One™ Teams. Each year as these Formula 1 teams built, tested and simulated for their new Formula One Challenger, Alexander’s talent and abilities proved invaluable for the development of each new Formula One car. For 2015, Alexander is back to full time racing in GP2 Series with multiplechampionship winning team, Racing Engineering. Alexander’s resume coupled with his dedication to his profession find him placed for a full time Formula One™ full time race seat in 2016. Alexander is highly marked by the motorsport industry as the next successful American in Formula One™, since Mario Andretti in 1978... Alexander has won at every level since his racing career began in go-karts at age 10. By 2006 at 14 years of age, he’d become a multiple National and International Karting Champion and the youngest open wheel racing champion in United States history. By 2008 Rossi had become Formula BMW World Champion holding the most series poles (10) and victories (14). This earned him the coveted test with BMW Sauber F1™ Team, making history at the time becoming the youngest driver at just 18 years old to hold a Formula One™ Super License. Alexander moved from America to Europe at age 17 and currently resides in London and Spain. He is very versed in the business of motorsport and well respected in the Formula One Paddock and FIA Governing body. He is an established ambassador for many commercial partners, the FIA and an active member of the Grand Prix Driver’s Association.
