Comments on how the situation has changed with the traffic lights now off. More flow People pay more attention It's is working like the intervention at the central station is working well The lights did not function properly the way they were on before https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ure67PnjuOmNfK7d0R8g9v7u_bY8bwdc67THN_YwtdA/viewanalytics

More dangerous But maybe only during off peak traffic hours People don't wacth out as much as before People pay more attention without the lights The bikes don't queue anymore The fact that the lights are still there physically makes you think there is something wrong Better flow Used to cross the red lights often You don't have to wait for the cars as much Not clear who has right of way without the lights More chaotic Crosses the red light often Only the cars really use them and need them People regulate themselves More flow, but not that much More flow and people pay more attention People pay more attention and cars do too You never have to stop and nobody is grumpy about the traffic situation But the risk of crashes are bigger Cuts the corner to be quicker and doesn't really use the lights Less organised Won't let her kids take the crossing without the lights, unsafe Used to cross the red light Unsafe due to more shark teeth Better flow, but not safer Crosses the red light usually Maybe unsafer It's scary The lights don't add much to the traffic situation Used to cross the red light eitherway Unsafe It's less safe But the cars take more risks Cyclists don't regulate themselves People find their better A bit scary, you have to pay more attention But too much shark teeth Less waiting time But maybe only in peak hours https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ure67PnjuOmNfK7d0R8g9v7u_bY8bwdc67THN_YwtdA/viewanalytics

Lights use to be switched off at night Amazed by the fact that it regulates itself But people still ignore the shark teeth Didn't pay a lot of attention to the traffic lights before Always ignores the light No lights would work during off peak hours You have to be more careful, but its a matter of luck that accidents haven't happened yet Not all the time For experienced drivers it's better without the lights As long as their are multiple modes of transport the lights should be there Multiple modes need traffic lights It's safer with the lights on Used to cross the red light anyway You have to be more aware of your surroundings Used the cross the red light anyway Still a lot of cars so lights are necesarry More flow and faster During off peak hours it can be better without the lights Safer

Comments on why the traffic lights should/shouldn't remain off. More flow People would otherwise cross the red lights anyway And change the design slightly, especially in relation to the shark teeth which dominate the traffic flow now https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ure67PnjuOmNfK7d0R8g9v7u_bY8bwdc67THN_YwtdA/viewanalytics

Only if young kids would use it on their own, with the lights on could make it safer It's more a technical issue with the timing It's never that busy on the crossing for the light to be useful Unsafe Solves the problem of limited space for cyclists Doesn't like to 'take' right of way Now you are sure everybody ignores the lights, where before some people would ignore the light more dangerous though Maybe turn them on for safety reasons Might need some time for people to adjust Safer with lights People do pay more attention Lights or no lights, it doesn't matter. It's the Amsterdam way of cycling Or think of something to make it safer without the lights Doesn't make any difference Less lights means less waiting time Might be difficult during rush hours without the lights Used to cross the red light often Maybe for children it would be more dangerous Might be dangerous since cars tend to speed whenever the lights are turned off Monitor how much traffic is using the crossing and turn the lights on or off depending on that data It's safer with the lights on There's more flow Not all the time, dangerous for kids without the lights Crosses the red light often, but feels like the lights are still necessary for unexperienced cyclists and drivers It solves the lack of space problem for cyclists Remove the lights fully But people tend to get more vigilant Kids could have more trouble with the crossing without the lights It's quiet so it's okay
