Leap of Faith? Giant Swing? Blob How many years have you been at camp? 3 What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Sky dive What is your favorite song we sing in the dining hall? Farther Along What is your favorite camp memory? Tough! I spent two of my three counselor summers with my twin sister also being a counselor. Sharing camp with her was so special! We have LOTS of favorite memories. I loved having quiet time in the pews after chapel, I would just pray and journal and cry, falling deeper in love with Jesus. Singspiration, tapouts, lifting of the silence ban, council of progress - those are my favorites!!
What are you most excited about for summer 2018? I am excited to be there for Starter Camp! I’ll be coming as a mama and a nurse instead of a college student, so my role is so different, but I think it’ll be just as fun! I look forward to being the nurturing, calming go-to that I loved so much when I was there before. Mostly, I’m so excited to pray for and love the girls coming through those gates and spending their first week at such a special place! I want each girl to see Jesus and feel His love in a captivating way.
