Each player must check-in in person. The assigned adult parent, team leader or captain shall be responsible for ensuring that all team members have checked in. General check-in should be completed BEFORE the start of the tournament. Be sure that all the Acknowledgment of the Rules and Code of Conduct forms have been turned in for all team members or they will not be allowed to play. Extra forms will be available at the check-in booth.  An open warm-up will begin ½ hour before the start of the tournaments. The court will be cluttered with different teams warming up at the same time. Please be courteous and avoid “hogging” or “whipping” balls during warm-up. Warm-ups are reserved for loosening up your arms and not for hitting people. (Note: IF there is time, teams may be given a brief warm-up period on the court prior to the start of each match.)  A check-in call for each match will be announced approximately 2 matches ahead of time. The assigned adult parent, team leader or captain is responsible for getting the team to the player’s entrance of the gym to checkin with the gym clerk. Failure to do so could result in being scratched.  Please remain in the player seating area until your match is up. Please wait for all players from the previous match to exit the court before entering. FIF Dodgeball Tournament Procedures 2013

 The referee will signal when it is time to line up. All players not in the starting line-up shall remain off the court and outside of the net in the marked player area.  The Match/Games commence.  When a player is out, they shall exit through the end line and remain off the court outside of the net until called back in. Leave room for the referee who will control the entering and exiting the court during the game.  Switch court sides after each game and be sure to shake hands with the other team at the end of the match.

REMEMBER TO HONOR REFEREE CALLS. ARGUING WITH AN OFFICIAL COULD RESULT IN EXPULSION, AND YOUR TEAM WILL HAVE TO PLAY WITH ONE MAN DOWN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT. Any questions or appeals, see the tournament director on stage.
