Description The property is approached up a shared track leading to a stone pillared and gated entrance that flows into a side gravelled forecourt. A second set of gates lead off this gravel forecourt onto a stunning walled block paved courtyard with a raised feature stone roundabout flower bed. The property is connected as one but is essentially divided into three wings: the main farmhouse, the leisure wing and the cottage.
Accommodation The Main Farmhouse The main farmhouse wing features three hand built porches. The main entrance is through a hand made door leading to a reception hall with utility and shower room off. The Main Farmhouse - Ground Floor The hall leads on one side to a stunning open plan Family Room with Living and Dining area and Kitchen. The living area benefits from splendid oak floors, an imposing full height bespoke stone fireplace with AGA multi fuel stove, oak beams and columns, sash windows, built in sound system and an attractive oak staircase that rises to the first floor with a stunning oak balcony landing. The living area moves effortlessly into an elegant bespoke kitchen dining room with impressive granite floor, oak beams, fitted base and wall units with integrated appliances, granite worktops, central island with granite worktop and four oven black AGA. The master bedroom suite lies off one side of the landing with vaulted ceiling, exposed trusses, ensuite with shower and bath, laundry shoot to utility room, feature arrow slit windows and spacious dressing room with fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Along the opposite end of the first floor lies a hallway, again with feature arrow slit windows, and access to bedroom 5 that shares an ensuite bathroom with bedroom 3. This bedroom currently spans across the farmhouse wing and cottage wing but could easily be separated with a door if required. The Leisure wing – Ground Floor The leisure wing is accessed either by patio doors off the courtyard or from the main reception hall in the farmhouse wing. A large gymnasium (or seventh bedroom/ study/ office if required) can be found just off the hallway with full height mirrored wall. The leisure wing continues into an excellent open plan leisure/ entertainment room featuring oak floors, arched double doors to courtyard, patio doors to rear patio, bespoke bar, raised platform (ideal for a grand piano) and multi fuel stove set in the corner.
The Leisure wing – Mezzanine floor (Billiard room) A staircase rises from the ground floor to a mezzanine level with vaulted ceiling and exposed trusses. This is currently used as part of the accommodation for the whole farmhouse but has a door that separates it from the farmhouse kitchen.
