AMELIA IN ACTION

AMELIA is Adopting a School! We are going to be helping at Vincent Middle School with their English as a Second Language reading comprehension. These classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 PM. Those of you that signed up and others that would like to help, please see Pastor Robby to get the required background check form as soon as possible. In order to help all you need to have is a willing spirit! Easter Celebration – April 15th We are only one month away from another opportunity to welcome our community for a celebration of Easter! We will need all of you to help to make this happen, so mark calendars! Saturday, April 15th, 10AM - 2 PM. Sign up with Casey Ochoa or talk to Pastor Robby to help now! And please donate candy! We need a LOT OF CANDY for all the kids that will join us There is a bin in the foyer for you to put candy in. (Please no chocolate) AMELIA REACHING – March 25th Let’s practice evangelism! We are going to be knocking on doors and inviting people to join us for our Easter Celebration. We won’t just be inviting people to have fun at Amelia, but to a new life in Jesus Christ! We will meet at the church on Saturday, March 25th at 10 AM and hit the streets from there to invite people to life change! Annie Armstrong Easter Offering There are over 269 million of lost people in the United States and Canada! We are taking part in the annual Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to support North American mission work. Our goal is to raise $2,500! Please be in prayer for how God would have you support NAMB missionaries and give!

Multi-Church Fellowship – March 26th Today is a deadline to sign up for the evening of multi-church fellowship at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church on March 26th from 5-7 PM. What a great opportunity to come together as one body, the Body of Christ Jesus! We will join in a time of worship, followed by a fellowship meal. There will be no service at the church on that night. Baby Shower – March 19th We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a baby shower for Brooke and Clay Robinson on Sunday, March 19th, 2-4 PM at the church. Please make plans to attend and bless this dear couple as they joyfully prepare for their first child. They are registered at Babies”R”Us and Buy Buy Baby. Men’s Trip to New Orleans – April 28-29th Although the men’s conference has been cancelled, our men will still go to New Orleans for the time of fellowship and spiritual refreshment. Sign up today and mark your calendars! Details coming soon!

MISSIONS Mission Trip to New Orleans – August 1-5th “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10) Start praying now if the Lord would have you go to New Orleans to serve others and grow in servant leadership, loving the unlovable, and compassion.
